Lutein for Improving Vision

Lutein for Improving Vision

Hey if you struggle with poor vision or
you’ve noticed that recently your vision is failing you and that objects either
from a distance or very close up are becoming increasingly blurry either in
the bright of day or the darkness of night then there are two powerful
antioxidants found in common foods that may help your vision health lutein and
zeaxanthin. If you’ve been to an ophthalmologist or an optometrist
recently he or she may have told you about the benefits of these two
antioxidants both lutein and zeaxanthin. Science has shown bioaccumulate in the
eye particularly in the back of the eye, that retina where objects hit and the
ophthalmic nerve submits those signals to the occipital region of the brain
where we become conscious of what we’re seeing and these two powerful
antioxidants bioaccumulate in the back of the eye, the retina and so they’re
important for you to consider as part of your dietary routine if you struggle
with poor vision or failing vision. Although lutein and zeaxanthin are
responsible for bright colors of many fruits and vegetables they’re actually
found in greatest amounts in dark leafy green vegetables, interestingly the
chlorophyll in dark leafy green vegetables masks the color of lutein and
zeaxanthin pigments so the vegetables appear green in color because of the
chlorophyll key sources of these two carotenoids. Powerful antioxidants
include kale, parsley, spinach, broccoli peas, paprika, the spice is quite high
in lutein. Kale is one of the best sources of lutein with about a hundred
and 15 micrograms per gram of kale by
comparison a carrot may only have 5.1 micrograms of lutein per gram, orange
juice, honeydew, melon, kiwis, red peppers, squash, grapes, are all great sources of
lutein and zeaxanthin and the great things is that you can include most of
these as a breakfast. egg yolks are extremely high in lutein and zeaxanthin
so you can have a couple of poached eggs on a bed of lightly steamed kale cut up
dice up some red pepper sprinkle on top some paprika and on the side have some
honeydew melon and kiwis and you can start your day powerfully to improve
vision health. My five-year-old son would say easy peasy. You can start every day
with breakfast, with foods to improve your vision health. Now a hint is that
fats actually improve the absorption of lutein and zeaxanthin so including fats
and into your diet may help the bioavailability of lutein and xanthine
so having a green salad for for lunch or dinner and adding some butter or coconut
oil with your cooked greens is a great idea. Now at Zenith labs we’ve created a
supplement called Vision 20 which I encourage you to check out. I always want
you to eat food because I believe that food is medicine including these high
lutein and zeaxanthin foods in your diet and as part of breakfast lunch and
dinner is the way to go and supplements are just supplements they’re meant to
supplement a healthy diet. We have a Facebook page we have a website ZenithLabs.com and an Instagram page. I want you to check out and share this channel
