Leeds pupils record Half MetroDay radio ad


Five lucky pupils from Brodetsky primary school in Leeds became radio stars for the day when Metro signed them up to write and perform the new jingle that will feature in a radio campaign

to promote the brand new Half Metroday ticket
for young people The pupils, who were runners up in the recent dragons
den competition that Metro ran with schools earlier his year rehearsed with producers from Capital Radio’s creative team
to produce a catchy commercial to run over the summer. Once rehearsals were over it was down to
recording the jingle piece by piece in one of the studios at Capital FM. The producers at the station were impressed
with how quick the children were able to ‘lay-down’ the trackMetro are now inviting young people from across West Yorkshire to record their own jingles for Half Fare MetroDay and post them on the GenerationM Facebook page.
