  • E-lite cigarettes are the best things to use gum, patches, and hypnosis are a load of shit. The good thing about electronic cigarettes is that you do the same thing you do when you smoke a normal cigarette and for me that's what I missed the most about smoking not just the nicotine but the lifting and inhaling the smoke but with E-lite cigarettes its just like smoking a real cigarette without the dangerous chemicals

    Dear smokers – I'm talking from experience now – if you really wanna quit smoking, read Allen Carr's Easyway and then you will understand, why Howcast's method is bullshit.

  • Its been 1 and a half days since I am cutting down on SMOKING and it is hard but I got some tips for you guys that can help you which really helped me !

    1.) do something to keep yourself busy for me I go gym for at least 1 or 2 hours which is also healthy for you

    2.) Next time your friend offers you a cigarette take that cigarette light it up and shove it up hes ASS and let that prick experience the pain !

    3.) Cut down on the cigarettes by completing goals that way you can reward yourself.

  • If you can quit that's good, but I didn't quit, I switched, to electric cigarettes. I started of with the beginner pack and I've never had the urge to smoke a normal cigarette ever since.   • Good advice -all of it. Cold turkey is best, I think. Sometimes, a little psychology is all that's needed to deliver someone to that "I can do this' moment where they can wrest control (of their own minds and bodies) away from their Brain -which is trying to kill them.

    This is what I can tell you -a large percentage of the quitting process is a mental thing -that is to say, psychological. 

    Some people go 'cold turkey' and are successful.  Not that many.  so many more need either a 'crutch', like an e-cigarette, or they need some kind of quitting program to help them over the hump of both physical withdrawal and the mental bonds. 

    There is no 'one size fits all' remedy. 

    My advice is to check out a program and find one that seems right for you and give it a shot.  You may someday get to the point where you will be so fed up with your lack of self-control that you will go cold turkey and conquer it once and for all.

  • I've been smoking most of my life until someone thought me the easiest way to quit.
    It's very simple. Do not quit smoking, just stop buying your own cigarettes. That's the only rule. Basically you will end up asking friends or pedestrians for a smoke. It took me a year to quit. And I didn't buy a single pack in that year. About six months later I was in the army. Every body around was smoking and I couldn't resist. A friend gave me a cigarette and I coughed. That was the end of it.
    It was 30 years ago and I haven't smoked since.

  • Just do it could turkey and don't think about it too much. Fire and forget, like a combat jet, y'know. Do something else. Get busy. Don't need to cross calendar. That'd just make you think about it. Which is not good. I've been doing it for close to six years now. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made in life. Before you get COPD, nothing is too late.
